Floyd Madison, Rochester's Ex-Fire Chief graces the pages of this week's Jet Magazine:

"Floyd Madison, pioneering firefighter who recently ended an eight-year stint as the first Black fire chief for the city of Rochester, NY, recently was appointed fire administrator for the state of New York by Gov. Eliot Spitzer. In the post, Madison will oversee the state's Office of Fire Prevention and Control. He is the first Black to serve in the position."
