Whitney Cancels Performance
The celebrity-filled audience at last month's London's Swarovski Fashion Rocks event cheered like crazy when Whitney Houston took the stage to introduce British pop group The Sugababes.
But according to British newspaper The Independent, the rehabbed singer was supposed to perform with the pop group as well at the Oct. 18th event, but instead canceled at the last minute due to "health issues."
"Whitney rehearsed that morning but pulled out, complaining of a sore throat," The Independent reported.
Patti Labelle ended up joining The Sugababes on stage for their rendition of LaBelle's 1975 breakout hit, "Lady Marmalade."
