Rapper 50 Cent is upset over the decision of MTV and BET to ban the video for his new single "I Still Kill" from his latest album, "Curtis."
The track has since been renamed "I Still Will" so that it can be played on the two Viacom-owned stations, but the artist says the whole thing smacks of a huge double standard.
"I don't think they have a problem with the group the Killers being called 'The Killers' and I don't think anyone's protesting that Guns N' Roses is called 'Guns N' Roses,'" 50 told New York Magazine. "I think that their perception of me is dark so they're going to ask for those things to be changed."
Elsewhere on the 50 Cent front, the New York Daily News is reporting that Brand Asset Group CEO Chris Lighty has been working on a deal for the artist to perform an outdoor concert in Times Square for New Year's Eve.
