Moses 'Beenie Man' Davis is expected to surrender to the Jamaican authorities today, with his lawyers in tow. As he attempts to tackle his tax problems with the Jamaican government.
"Beenie Man arrived in Jamaica Sunday from Barbados where he did a show. He had performed at the World Creole Festival in Dominica on Friday night. His return to the island was without incident and he will be turning himself into the authorities alongside his lawyer" stated a member of his publicity team. The team member was tight lipped as to the possible location of the arrest.
Information shows that the deejay will be preparing to make some restitution of his $47 million tax bill. Beenie Man's well publicized legal woes emerged a few weeks ago with reports that he appeared in a Sutton Street (JA) court to deal with the problem. The deejay subsequently missed a court date on October 23rd as he was in New York, shooting a video with the singer Barbee, and a warrant was issued for his arrest.
