In court papers obtained by TMZ.com, Shaunie O'Neal says she still has hope that her marriage to Shaquille O'Neal can be repaired.

In her response to the Miami Heat center's divorce petition, Shaunie says she doesn't believe the marriage is "irretrievably broken" and denies Shaq's allegation that she was "secretive" about her various assets.

She also says she hasn't done anything "untoward with assets or monies" that belonged to her husband.

Additionally, Shaunie denies Shaq's claim that she put some of their money in "other entities."

Shaunie, who would've celebrated five years of marriage to Shaq in December, says the entire divorce ordeal has caused her "emotional pain and embarrassment," according to the documents.
