R&B sensation Chris Brown continues his transformation from R&B singer to big screen star. Brown can soon be seen flexing his acting skills alongside an all-star cast in the new holiday comedy" This Christmas".
Due in late November, "This Christmas" also stars Delroy Lindo, Regina King, Loretta Devine, Laz Alonso, Lauren London, Columbus Short, Idris Elba and Mekhi Phifer.
The film captures the story of the Whitfield family as they make their first attempt in four years to spend the holidays together as a family. Brown portrays Michael "Baby" Whitfield.
The role reunited Chris Brown with previous castmates Columbus Short and Laz Alonso. Brown made his film acting debut this January in "Stomp the Yard", which also starred Ne-Yo.
In addition to his role as Santa Claus, Mekhi Phifer also took on the important task of producing This Christmas. Phifer's production company, Facilitator Films teamed with Clint Culpepper of Sony Screen Gems to executive produce the project.
Phifer currently stars on the NBC drama "ER."
