Rally In Support Of Latasha Shaw
In light of the city's most recent homicide, City Councilman Adam McFadden said he is encouraging citizens to attend a rally at 6 tonight, October 1, 2007, at the corner of Dewey and Driving Park Avenues.
McFadden said he wants to shut down all of Dewey Avenue and go door-to-door to ask people if they saw anything or had any involvement in the fight that led up to Saturday night's fatal stabbing of Latasha Shaw, 36, of Rochester. He added that he is tired of people "harboring violence."
"This is not an elected official thing. This is a fed-up citizen thing," McFadden said in reference to tonight?s rally.
