Jay-Z Is The Man
Jay-Z's popular clothing line Rocawear is in negotiations to become the naming-right pat to the Meadowlands arena. Jay-Z, who owns a portion of the New Jersey Nets, hopes to snag the rights to the arena's name, which is currently held by Continental Airlines.
The rapper faces competition from clothing brands Izod and Southpole, who also seek to have the 26-year-old arena named after their flagship brands.
