Tracey Edmonds and Eddie Murphy fielded multiple questions about their upcoming wedding Wednesday during the red carpet premiere of "Good Luck Chuck," a new film produced by Edmonds' entertainment company.
"It's getting closer and closer," said Edmonds, 40. "We've got a lot of work to do yet."
It appears as if the bride and groom each have separate wedding tasks to complete in advance of the big day.
"We keep checking in with each other," Edmonds said. "Like, 'What do you think about this?' So we're getting a little closer, figuring it all out. It'll come together really soon."
Murphy chimed in: "It's back and forth."
"We both have the same idea of what we want," Edmonds clarified. "We want to make it fun and casual - small."
Meanwhile, Murphy says he and his fiance will extend their union beyond the marriage and into upcoming film projects she may produce for the actor.
"We've got a couple different things with each other we're working on," Murphy revealed. One tentative project includes a comedy costarring Chris Tucker.
"I have two comedies," Edmonds explained, adding, "We are actually doing a lot of things."
