My New iPod, Broke Already

My new iPod arrived today, and it arrived broken. Gotta love that. 2 hours with tech support and the all have no clue, looks like its stuck in a test mode.

Ok more info since people are already asking.
I can't leave this screen, won't restore in iTunes. Tried Mac and PC. I love the Cheerios box icon for the Serial Number.

Well thats it, its dead. Apple wants me to return it. Wish they'd pay for the gas I have to use going back out to the Apple Store.
