The airwaves have been plastered with the replay of Buffalo Bills player Kevin Everett getting hit and being taken off the field in an ambulance during this past Sunday's game against the Denver Broncos.
We've all seen the doctor's telling the press that there was no way he would ever play football again. They have also said that he would never walk again or may die from his injuries.
What ever happened to Faith?
Since hearing the initial reports out of Buffalo, Kevin Everett has moved his legs, been taken off the respirator and is talking to his Mother. If we had listened to the doctor's, his family would be planning his funeral.
How do you think it made his family feel to turn on the news to hear that there was no hope for Kevin?
Faith - A simple word with a lot of power. We shouldn't give up in the face of adversity. We should never let anyone tell us we can't or won't be able to accomplish anything.
I believe that Kevin Everett will survive, walk and who knows, may even be able to play football again one day. It's all about "Keeping the Faith".
