Motown to Hot for the Queen

Aretha Franklin was forced to cancel an outdoor show near Detroit last night due to heat exhaustion. Franklin, 65-year-old said the sweltering temperatures overwhelmed her at the DTE Energy Music Theatre. Temperatures in Motown reached above 90 degrees Sunday. "The Queen of Soul" decided to reschedule the show to a later date.
