Beyonc頩s reportedly eyeing another big screen role based on a Broadway musical. According to industry blogger Jim Hill Media, the "Dreamgirls" star is in talks to star in Disney's movie version of "Ai-da." Singer Heather Headley originated the role on stage and won a Tony Award for her work in the musical in 2000. Toni Braxton and Beyonc駳 former Destiny's Child group member Michelle Williams have also taken their turn in the title role on stage. Jim Hill writes that Disney is working hard to convince Beyonc頴o make "Aida" her follow-up project to "Dreamgirls." He says, quote, "Starring in the movie version of this Tony Award-winning musical should be a no-brainer for Beyonc鮢 "Aida" tells the story of a kidnapped Nubian princess whose captor falls for her and saves her from a life of hard labor by assigning her to serve as a handmaiden to his future bride
