Foxy Brown's new lyrical freestyle is doing little to clear up the conflicting stories surrounding an alleged robbery attack on the rapper a few weeks ago. MTV says Fox danced around the issue in the freestyle "We Don't Surrender" released on the Internet yesterday. But there are few, if any, clues about why police say she filed a complaint saying she was attacked, and why she says she didn't. Brown raps on the track, quote, "I'm a gangsta, baby, and still stuntin'/Cops want to talk to Fox/I knows nothin'." Authorities in New York are reportedly asking the rapper to come forward and discuss the incident again, but she has declined to cooperate. According to "The New York Daily News," police picked up a suspect, identified by Foxy herself, on the night in question. But a day later, the rapper told the "New York Post" that she was not attacked. The woman who was taken into custody was released late last week after Brown failed to show up to testify before a grand jury. Foxy and her manager both deny that any attack took place.
