Tyrese is taking himself off the market. While trying to clear up a rumor that the singer-actor recently popped the question to singer-actress Brandy, a publicist for Brandy revealed that Tyrese is indeed engaged -- but not to Brandy. Eurweb.com quotes publicist Courtney Barnes who says the "Transformers" star surprised his pregnant girlfriend, Norma, at a baby shower Brandy hosted for her on June 7th. Barnes said in her statement, quote, "There's no truth to the rumors Tyrese proposed to Brandy, he actually asked his girlfriend to marry him during the shower." Earlier this year, Tyrese made headlines when it was reported that the singer had punched an eleven-weeks pregnant Norma following a "heated argument." Norma's lawyer released a statement a few days later calling reports of the event "distorted," and the punching report "false." No word yet on a wedding date for the two lovebirds. Meantime, fans can catch Tyrese in the new "Transformers" movie opening nationwide July 3rd.
