Ludacris' manager is commenting on the altercation involving himself and rapper T.I. Sunday night in Hollywood. According to MTV, a publicist for Chaka Zulu issued a statement yesterday calling the incident, quote, "an unprovoked attack from T.I., which forced Zulu to defend himself." The brawl erupted at the Sunset Tower Hotel in West Hollywood during a luncheon honoring actress Holly Robinson Peete. Witnesses say T.I. punched Zulu in the face shortly after Zulu arrived with Ludacris three hours into the event. In the statement, Zulu said it was a shame, quote, "that things like this continue to happen, especially with the backdrop of an event that was about benevolence and charitable works." He added, "I'm thankful that all issues have been resolved." T.I.'s camp have not yet commented on the incident. MTV says T.I. and Ludacris had a long simmering rap rivalry before making peace with each other a few years ago.
