Foxy Brown is denying reports that she was attacked at a Brooklyn housing project early Saturday morning. The "New York Daily News" quotes police sources who say the rapper, born Inga Marchand, filed a report and even helped identify one of her alleged attackers shortly after the incident. But Brown later told "The New York Post" that she was not the victim of a crime. She told the paper, quote, "A lot of time, people mistake me for someone else, or people always call in these false tips." Police insist that Brown was indeed victimized and that they are still looking for other suspects. They say she was robbed of her handbag that contained 500-dollars cash, and that her attackers pulled out her hearing aid and tore her hair weave. Earlier, a police source told the "Daily News," that Brown had dumped her boyfriend that evening after she found out he was a pimp, and that he called some of his women who "pounced on her." A 23-year-old woman has been charged with robbery and assault.
