Diddy is debunking rumors about Cassie being dismissed from Bad Boy Records. The hip-hop mogul tells MTV that Cassie is still part of the Bad Boy family and working on her next album. Released last year, Cassie's self-titled debut did not rise to expectations despite the success of her first single "Me & U." The album sold just 300-thousand copies and Cassie found herself the subject of much debate on the Internet when questions cropped up about her talent. Diddy still defends his musical "Bad Girl." He says people should understand that it sometimes takes time to mold talent and that Cassie definitely does have talent. He says, quote, "I think she had some rough shows, just being nervous. Sometimes people have to break out of that." Diddy thinks Cassie has improved over the past several months. He says, quote, "She went over to Europe with me and killed the MTV Europe Music Awards. She has her swagger on." Diddy says Cassie's teaming up with some heavyhitters for her next album, including Kanye West and Pharrell Williams. She's also working overtime as one of the new spokesmodels for Diddy's Sean John women's collection which is due out next month.
