Akon's singing songs of sorry to Gwen Stefani. In a track posted on TMZ.com, the embattled R&B singer offers a musical apology to his former tour mate after his raunchy dance number with an underage concertgoer in Trinidad prompted Verizon Wireless to pull the plug on its sponsorship of their tour. In the song, Akon sings to Stefani, saying he's sorry for "the hand she was dealt," and for "the embarrassment that she felt." He also addresses the April incident involving the young concertgoer, singing, "Daddy should have never let her out that young -- how was I to know she was underage, in a 21-and-over club, they say." Akon recently found himself in more controversy after allegedly tossing a young fan off a concert stage in upstate New York over the Memorial Day holiday weekend. The toss was said to have been done in a "playful" manner. No charges have been filed in the incident, though police say they are investigating.
