LL Cancels All Summer Tour Dates to Take Care of Family Emergency

LL Cool J is putting family first. Organizers of Jamaica's 15th Annual Red Stripe Reggae Sumfest says the rapper has bowed out of his plans to appear at the concert event next month citing a "family problem." No word on what the problem is, but, according to the "Jamaican Observer," it has forced LL to cancel all of his scheduled summer dates including an appearance at the Essence Music Festival in New Orleans. The Essence Music Festival is scheduled to run from July 5th to July 8th in New Orleans. Reggae Sumfest is scheduled to take place from July 15th to July 21st in Montego Bay.
