Marley Marl Suffers Heartache
Pioneering hip-hop producer Marley Marl is said to be recovering in a New York-area hospital after suffering a heart attack on Tuesday. Allhiphop.com quotes sources who say the veteran producer is in stable condition. Reps for Marl would not release any details on his condition, but did ask fans to pray for his speedy recovery. Marley Marl is considered to be one of the most influential producers in hip-hop history. In the early 1980s and 1990s, he laced up groundbreaking tracks for rappers like Big Daddy Kane, LL Cool J, Eric B. & Rakim and even TLC.
