Water Turns to Gold for 50 Cent
50 Cent is $400 million richer thanks to the sale of Vitamin Water. Allhiphop.com reports Coca-Cola bought Vitamin Water's company Glaceau last week for $4.1 billion. Since one of the drinks is named after 50, 'Formula 50,' the rapper hit the jackpot with acquisition.
In other 50 news, if you are looking to buy his album next month, you will have to wait a few more months. Interscope Records said Friday that the rapper's third album "Curtis" is being pushed back until September. According to Billboard.com, the label cited last-minute additions and the desire to release the album simultaneously worldwide as reasons for the delay.
