The Canadian city of Lethbridge, Alberta is putting a short leash on Snoop Dogg. CBC News reports that the city council in Lethbridge has passed a new law requiring performers to leave a deposit with the city before any show. The undisclosed sum would be returned only if the artists refrain from breaking the law while on stage. The move was prompted by allegations that Snoop smoked marijuana during a performance in Lethbridge in January. The rapper, whose real name is Calvin Broadus, has experienced rocky international relations recently. He was denied entry to Australia after the immigration head said he had failed the country's "character" test, and was denied entry into the U.K. last month after his entourage got into a scuffle at London's Heathrow Airport last year.
